MPUVNL Rooftop Solar Tender for Government Buildings Across 8 Madhya Pradesh Districts
Madhya Pradesh Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (MPUVNL) has invited bids for grid-connected rooftop solar systems on government premises across eight districts: Alirajpur, Damoh, Maihar, Narsinghpur, Pandhurna, Sheopur, Sidhi, and Singrauli. The tender runs on a RESCO (renewable energy service company) model with 25-year power purchase agreements, so the developer owns and operates the rooftop systems while the government sites pay for the power consumed rather than the equipment itself.
Each site carries a minimum contract demand of 20 kW, and bidders can submit for one district or several. The award goes district-by-district to whichever qualified bidder quotes the lowest tariff, with a 2% tariff escalation built in at the start of each subsequent contract year across the full 25-year term. The earnest money deposit is set at ₹1,00,000 per MW (or part thereof), with a performance guarantee of ₹1,750 per kW required from the winning bidder in each district.
